Arsalan Restaurant

We are tucked away at the corner of SV Road and 1st Road in Khar West. Being at number 1 makes us easy to find, but the street is always crowded with cars and people. Our kitchen is where everything happens, with big pots of rice and meat simmering for hours. The air around the entrance usually smells like grilled coal and spices. We have a few tables inside, and they stay pretty full from the afternoon until late at night. The staff has been with us for years, so they know exactly how the regulars like their tea or their plates served. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned setup. We don't use any fancy apps to manage things; we just write it down and get it done. Sometimes the overhead fans make a bit of a clicking noise, and the lighting is a bit dim, but that’s just the character of the building. We focus on making sure the meat is tender and the portions are enough to fill someone up. It’s a lot of hard work in a hot kitchen, especially during the summer months. We don't put out flyers or anything like that. People just know where we are because we’ve been here at this intersection for so long. It’s just a local spot for a decent meal without any unnecessary drama. Our day usually starts with a delivery of fresh produce and ends with us cleaning the stoves.
