Architect Ink

We are located in Dahisar at B/307 in the Pooja Dham building. It is right in the Vaishali Nagar area which stays pretty busy most of the time. The office isn't very large, but it fits our desks and the large tables we need for spreading out blueprints. Working in Dahisar means we see a lot of the suburban growth happening around us. We spend a lot of time on the computer working on designs, but we still like using real ink on paper sometimes. That is where the name comes from, I guess. The building itself is a typical residential-commercial mix, so there are always people coming and going. It gets quite lively in the afternoons. Sometimes the elevator in Pooja Dham is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It is just a regular workplace where we try to solve design problems for people who want to build something. We have stacks of files and old samples of tiles and wood scattered around. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. The Vaishali Nagar vibe is very middle-class and practical, which suits the way we work. We don't do anything flashy. We just focus on the drawings and making sure the measurements are right. It’s a quiet life of planning and checking things over and over until they make sense. We are usually here until the sun goes down.
