The office is situated over in Kurla East on Dairy Road, specifically in the Fort Nehru Nagar area. It’s a part of town that’s always moving, and that energy kind of seeps into the workspace. It’s not a quiet, tucked-away studio by any means. There’s usually a lot going on, with people coming in and out and the sounds of the street never really fading away. We’ve got rows of desks where the drafting happens, and there’s always a stack of blueprints waiting to be rolled up or checked over. The walls are mostly bare, save for some structural drawings pinned up here and there. It’s a practical place where we focus on getting the drawings right. We’ve been at this Kurla East location for quite some time, so we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick snack when we’re working late. The furniture is nothing special—just sturdy tables and chairs that can handle long hours. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper and the city air, but that’s just how it is. We don’t spend much time on decor or making things look pretty for visitors. The work speaks for itself, and most of our time is spent hunched over layouts or talking through technical details. It’s a busy, functional office in a busy part of Mumbai, and it suits the way we work.
