Aqua Mix

Aqua Mix is based out of Parekh Mansion, which is at 512 S.V.P. Road. It’s a well-known spot in Mumbai, and the building has that old-school feel to it. We are in unit number 2. The office isn't very big, so things can get a bit tight when we have a lot of stock coming in. We deal with a lot of plumbing and bathroom fittings, so there are boxes of taps and mixers everywhere you look. It’s not a fancy showroom with shiny floors. It’s more of a working warehouse and office mix. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the quality of the items we get. S.V.P. Road is always busy, so there's a constant sound of horns and traffic in the background. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write nice things about us. We just focus on the products we have and getting them to the people who order them. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the Mumbai traffic, but we do our best to stay on top of it. It’s just a few of us here, and we’ve been working together for a long time. We know the products inside and out. It’s a simple business, really. We just show up, handle the orders, and try to make sure everything works like it’s supposed to without any major hiccups.
