Our place is in the Retiwala Industrial Estate, unit number 7, right on H.A. Palav Marg in Byculla East. If you know the area, you know it is a lot of warehouses and small factories all grouped together. We work on water treatment systems, so there are always pipes, filters, and tanks lying around the shop floor. It is not the cleanest environment, but that is because we are actually building things here. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role. Some days we are out on site, but mostly we are right here in Byculla putting systems together. The air can be a bit heavy in the industrial estate, especially in the summer. We keep the fans going and just get on with it. We do not have a fancy website or a sales team that talks in circles. We just explain how the filters work and what needs to be done to keep the water clean. It is practical work. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow entrance to the estate, which causes a bit of a delay, but we manage. We have been here for years and have seen the neighborhood change a bit, but our routine stays the same. We drink a lot of tea, fix what is broken, and try to make sure every order is right before it goes out the door. It is just a normal, busy Indian workshop environment.
