We are tucked away in the Bhairvi Apts on Bhardawadi Lane. If you know where the Navrang Cinema is in Andheri West, we are just opposite the lane there. Apex Exim Consortium Pvt Ltd is the full name, but we just think of it as our daily spot in the city. Andheri is always moving fast, and Bhardawadi Lane is no different. Our office in the apartments is pretty simple. We spend the day dealing with export and import stuff, which involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Being near the cinema means there is always a bit of a buzz outside, especially in the evenings. The lane can be a bit narrow, so getting through can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We have a few desks and some filing cabinets that are probably too full. It is a humble place, really. We don't go in for anything flashy. We just focus on the exim business and making sure the consortium runs like it should. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall nearby while we wait for documents to arrive. It is just the way things go in this part of Mumbai. We are just a group of people working out of a residential building, trying to keep up with the pace of the trade world. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy from morning till night in Andheri West. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
