Ansons Electro Mechanical Works

Our place on Abdul Rehman Street is right in the middle of everything. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes working out of Plot No. 248-250, but we make it work for us. We handle a lot of mechanical repairs and various electrical parts. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the power tools going at once. We have been here long enough that we know most of the people on this block by their first names. There is always someone coming in with a motor that needs fixing or a specific part that is hard to find. We do not spend much money on fancy signs or new paint for the walls. Most of our desks are covered in grease and old paperwork from years ago. It is a real workshop, not one of those clean showrooms you see in magazines. Sometimes the shipments arrive late and we have to stay a bit longer in the evening to finish up. We do not really mind, though. It keeps us busy and the day goes by fast. You can usually find a couple of us sitting out front during the lunch break. We do not use big words to describe what we do here. We just fix things and build what is needed for the local shops. The floor is old concrete and the lights flicker occasionally, but it feels like home to us. Ansons has been a part of this street for a long time now.
