We are based at B6/34 on S V Road in Santacruz West, Mumbai - 400054, right in the Khira Nagar area. It’s a pretty well-known spot, and we’ve been here for a long time. The office is a simple place, nothing too fancy or modern. We have our computers, some old-fashioned drawing boards, and shelves full of files from years of projects. S V Road is always full of traffic, so there is a constant hum of cars and buses outside our window. We spend most of our time here working on architectural plans and trying to figure out the best way to use the space we are given. A lot of our work involves dealing with the local municipal office and getting all the necessary permits, which is never as easy as it sounds. We don't have a marketing team or any glossy brochures. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or friends. We prefer it that way. When a client comes in, we just sit down and talk about what they need, whether it’s a small renovation or a whole new building. We try to be honest about what’s possible and what’s just going to be a headache. It’s a lot of technical work, but we like seeing a project finally come together after all the planning. Our desks are usually a mess of blue ink and tea stains, but we know where everything is. It's a straightforward business and we keep it that way.
