Anil Ayurpharma

Anil Ayurpharma has been set up at E-5, 90 Sakinaka for a long time now. We are right opposite H.M.T.D., which is a landmark most people in this part of Mumbai know. Sakinaka is always crowded and noisy, with auto-rickshaws and trucks constantly passing by our door. We work with Ayurvedic products, so our space often smells like herbs and oils, which is a nice change from the city smog outside. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us handling the orders and talking to people who come in. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a traditional setup where the focus is on the products themselves. The building is an older one, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of our day packing up bottles and making sure our records are straight. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people find us because they’ve been coming here for years or someone told them about us. We aren't trying to be a modern health spa or anything like that. We just provide Ayurvedic items from our spot in Sakinaka. It’s a busy life here, but we like being right in the middle of the action near H.M.T.D. It feels like we are a real part of the neighborhood.
