Wilhelmsen Chhabs Laboratories

If you walk down New Link Road in Andheri West, you will find Wilhelmsen Chhabs Laboratories at Plot No. B-31/A-14. It is a busy part of the city. The traffic outside is always loud with cars and bikes zooming past. Inside the lab, it is much quieter, though there is always the hum of the equipment. We have a lot of glass bottles and testing kits sitting on the benches. It is not the kind of place you see in movies with white walls and no dust. We actually work here, so there are notebooks everywhere and things being moved around. Andheri is a crowded place, and our corner of the New Link Road is no different. We get used to the noise. Most of us take the train or the bus to get here. It is a small team. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk or working with a sample. We spend our hours looking at details and writing down numbers. It is honest work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to finish. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when we need a break. We just focus on what is in front of us. It is a practical environment where we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can despite the Mumbai rush.
