Prasad Induction Motor

It is quite loud here at Sangharsh Nagar. We are based in unit 20/B/306 on Chandivali Farm Road. Being in Andheri means there is always traffic and plenty of people moving about. Prasad Induction Motor is where we spend most of our waking hours. There is usually grease on someone's hands and the smell of metal is everywhere. We work on motors of all sizes. Sometimes they are small and easy to fix but other times they take all day and a lot of sweating. The shop is a bit cluttered with parts and tools scattered around the benches. We try to keep things organized but when you are busy it just happens. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. We know how these machines sound when they are running right and when they are about to give up. It is honest work and it keeps the lights on. Chandivali has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings but our corner stays pretty much the same. We have the fans running constantly because it gets really hot inside the unit with all the machinery. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to the coils and bearings. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the repairs. If you come by you will probably find us hunched over a workbench or testing a motor.
