We are tucked away in Morya Estate on the New Link Road. If you know Andheri West, you know how hectic this part of Mumbai can get. We are at number 219. It’s a big building with lots of different businesses, so it can be a bit confusing to find us. Ashutosh Enterperises Mumbai has been operating out of this spot for a good bit now. The traffic on New Link Road is almost always a nightmare, so we’ve learned to plan our day around it. Inside our unit, it’s usually quite active. We have boxes stacked up and desks squeezed in where they fit. It’s a typical Mumbai workspace—every inch counts. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try not to let it get to us. We’ve got a small team and we all pitch in, whether it’s packing a shipment or dealing with a supplier. Sometimes we order lunch from the small place downstairs and just eat at our desks. It’s not very formal here. We wear comfortable clothes and focus on the tasks. Being in Andheri means we are close to everything. The elevator in Morya Estate is often busy, so we usually just take the stairs to the second floor. It keeps us moving. We’ve got a small window that looks out over a back alley, so there isn’t much of a view, but it lets in light.
