We are located right on the DN Nagar Link Road, pretty much opposite Indian Oil Nagar and near Sitladevi. If you’ve spent any time in Andheri West, you know how hot it gets, so we stay pretty busy with all the units people bring in. It’s a messy job sometimes. There are tools and spare parts all over the workbench. We try to keep it clean, but when phones are ringing and someone’s waiting for their machine, things get a bit disorganized. We’ve been fixing things here for quite a while now. Most of the guys who work here have grease on their hands by noon. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with coffee or anything like that. It’s just a workshop where we get the work done. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because a part is hard to find, and we have to tell the customer to wait another day. We hate doing that, but it happens. We just want to make sure the job is done right so the unit actually works when you get it home. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting heavy stuff and figuring out why a motor stopped. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood who’ve been coming to us for years. It’s loud because of the traffic on the Link Road, but we’re used to it. We keep our tools ready and just take it one job at a time.
