Komal Scientific Co.

Komal Scientific Co. is on the first floor of the Damodar Building at 105 Princess Street. If you know Mumbai at all you know that Princess Street is a very crowded place with a lot of old buildings and narrow sidewalks. Our office is up a flight of stairs that are a bit steep and have been worn down by many years of people walking up and down them. We deal with scientific equipment and lab supplies so the space is filled with glass beakers, test tubes, and boxes of chemicals. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside because there is so much stuff packed into the rooms. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling and we use ladders to reach the things at the top. The windows look out over the street and you can hear the constant honking of the taxis and the shouting of the vendors below. It is a very busy atmosphere and there is always someone coming in to ask for a specific kind of flask or a certain grade of filter paper. We do our best to find what they need in the middle of all the inventory. It is an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works for us. We don't have a website that does much or any fancy marketing. We just stay here in the Damodar Building and help the people who walk through the door and need supplies for their laboratories or schools.
