Elephant Events

We are located at No. 33B in the Apurva Estate on Makvana Road. It’s in Marol, Andheri East, so the traffic is always something we have to deal with when we are moving equipment. At Elephant Events, our days are usually spent surrounded by piles of curtains, light stands, and random decor pieces that we’ve collected over time. The warehouse space in the estate is a bit dusty, but that’s just how it goes when you’re storing big items. We spend a lot of time on the phone or on our laptops trying to organize schedules. It gets pretty chaotic when a big date is coming up and we are trying to find where we put those specific table runners. We’ve got a few old sofas in the corner where we sit and eat lunch when we have a spare minute. Makvana Road can get pretty blocked up with delivery vans, so we try to plan our movements early in the morning. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and checking that the bulbs haven't blown out. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things ready. Most of the time, the floor is covered in tape marks and bits of wire. It’s just a regular group of us working here, trying to make sure we don't forget any of the equipment when we head out to a site. There’s a cat that hangs around the entrance too.
