Our place is at unit number 30 in the Kala Udyog Premises, which is on L.B.S. Marg in Bhandup West. It’s a busy industrial estate with a lot of different businesses sharing the same building. Anand Arc Electrodes Pvt. Ltd. has been in this unit for several years now. The space inside number 30 is mainly dedicated to the production of electrodes and welding supplies. It’s a very practical setup. We have the heavy equipment on one side and a small area for office work on the other. L.B.S. Marg is a main road, so there’s a constant hum of traffic that you can hear even through the walls. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don’t have any polished floors or fancy meeting rooms. We just have our workbenches and the tools we need. The team here is small and we all know each other well. We start the day early to beat some of the heat. It gets pretty warm in the workshop, so we keep the fans running all the time. Most of our day is spent handling materials and checking the output. We don’t do a lot of talking unless it’s about the work at hand. We just show up at the Kala Udyog Premises, get through the list of tasks, and make sure everything is ready for the next day. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business in Bhandup West.
