Amit Gasket Industries

We are located at Patel Mansion, which is No. 112 on Mint Road. It’s an old building with a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes. Amit Gasket Industries operates out of a space here that is mostly filled with cutting tools and sheets of gasket material. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, so there is usually some dust and scraps on the floor. We’ve been at this for a long time. The owner is usually around, probably with some grease on his shirt, helping out with a difficult cut. We don’t have a polished front office or a receptionist to greet you. You just walk in and someone will look up from what they are doing to help. Mint Road is a busy place and being in Patel Mansion puts us right near the heart of the trade area. We make all sorts of gaskets for different engines and machines. It’s simple work but it requires a lot of attention to detail so things don't leak later. We aren't interested in being a huge company. We like knowing our regulars and handling the orders that come across the desk. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, but mostly we just stick to our regular hours and do the best work we can with the tools we have. It’s a noisy building but we don't mind the hum of the city.
