We have our office at A-21, Sitaram Building, on the first floor along Dr. D.N. Road. This is a very old and famous part of the city, with all the big stone buildings and lots of history in the walls. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs, which keeps us all in shape. Our space is filled with rolls of vinyl and various samples that we show to people who come by. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment arrives, but we have a system for moving things around so we can still reach our desks. The light from the large windows is nice, even if the view is just of the busy traffic and the buses going past on Dr. D.N. Road. We are a practical bunch of people. We do not use big words or try to impress anyone; we just show the product and tell the price. Sometimes the old building has plumbing issues or the internet goes slow, but we just deal with it and keep working. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what we are doing over the weekend. It is a steady kind of life here in the middle of all the city noise. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
