Shivsagar Estate in Worli is one of those old-school business locations that everyone knows. We occupy the 6th floor of D Building. It’s got that specific feel of a place that has seen a lot of years go by. Working with amines and plasticizers isn't exactly glamorous, but it is what we do day in and day out. The office is often full of the smell of coffee and the sound of printers. We deal with a lot of industrial clients, so the conversations are usually about chemical specs or delivery timelines. Dr. Annie Besant Road is always packed with cars, and looking out the window is a good way to lose five minutes. We have a small team here that manages the whole operation. It’s mostly just making sure the production side and the office side are on the same page. We’ve got some old furniture and files that have been around since I started. It feels more like a home than a corporate office sometimes because we’ve all known each other for so long. We don't bother with fancy brochures or big presentations. If someone needs to know something, they just call and ask. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of our days are spent coordinating with the plants and making sure the supplies are moving correctly. It’s steady work, and we like it that way. We just keep the business running without much noise.
