Ambika Refrigeration Industries (I)

Our place is tucked into Iqbal House, specifically units A/9 and 10. It’s a busy corner of the building where there is always some kind of noise from tools or people moving stuff around. Ambika Refrigeration Industries isn't the kind of place you’d find in a shiny brochure. We have shelves full of parts and different components scattered around because that’s just how we work. Sometimes the floors get a bit dusty, and the lighting isn't always the brightest, but it’s home to us. We’ve spent a lot of time figuring out how things fit together. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things twice. Sometimes we have to move heavy equipment around to make space for a new arrival, which can be a bit of a hassle in this layout. We keep a pot of tea going most of the afternoon to keep us moving. Neighbors in the other units drop by to borrow a tool or just to say hello. It feels like a small community here at Iqbal House. We don't have a big reception area or anyone sitting at a front desk. If you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us with grease on our hands or looking through a manual. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure nothing sits on the shelf for too long. It is simple work, really, but it keeps us on our toes every single day. We just focus on the machines.
