We run our operations out of the Abdullah Building, which is located on Sandhut Road. If you are familiar with the area around JJ Hospital, you will find us right across from Gate No 6. It is an incredibly busy part of town and there is always a large crowd on the sidewalk because of the hospital visitors and staff. Our office is situated at 112/124. It is an older building that has a lot of history and houses many other small businesses besides ours. Alvi Manpower Services has been based here for a good number of years now. Most of our time is spent talking with people who are searching for work or managers who need to find extra help for their teams. The stairs leading up to our floor are quite narrow, so we always tell people to watch their step. It is definitely not a quiet office. You can hear the constant sound of horns and engines from the street all day long, but we have stopped noticing it mostly. It makes us feel like we are right in the thick of things. We have a few desks and some old metal filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is a very straightforward way of working. We just try to help people find the right spots. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people come in at once, but we do our best to stay organized and keep things moving.
