Alves Imtrex (P) Ltd.

Our office is right across from the Mahim Railway Station, in the Vailankanni Towers. We are on the first floor of the A wing, units 101 and 102. It’s a busy area in Mahim West, and you can always hear the trains and the traffic from Senapati Bapat Marg outside our windows. Alves Imtrex (P) Ltd. has been based here for a good amount of time. The office is usually full of files, samples, and people talking on the phone. Since we are involved in trading and imtrex work, there is a lot of back-and-forth with shipping agents and customs people. It’s not always a smooth process; sometimes things get stuck at the port or there are delays with the paperwork. We just deal with those things as they come up. The space is a bit tight with all the desks and storage cabinets, but we make it work. We aren't into big corporate presentations. Most of our day is spent checking emails, verifying lists, and making sure the logistics side of things is moving along. The staff here is used to the fast pace, though we do take a proper lunch break when we can. It’s a lived-in office with a lot of history. We’ve got some old maps on the wall and piles of ledgers that we still use. We just focus on the practical side of getting goods from one place to another.
