All Day Pharma

We’ve been here at Sai Building for a good while now. It’s right in Jai Prakash Nagar, number 101. Most days, we just keep busy sorting through the stock and making sure things are where they need to be. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the unit sometimes when a big shipment comes in and boxes are piled everywhere. Goregaon is always noisy outside, but you get used to it after a few years of working here. My brother and I usually handle the morning shift, then a few others come in later to help out. We don’t do anything fancy here, just medicinal supplies and getting orders packed up for whoever needs them. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard for the delivery trucks to pull in properly, so we end up carrying heavy boxes ourselves across the street. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there never seems to be a quiet moment to actually get it done. People stop by looking for specific things, and we do what we can to find it in the back. It’s mostly just a lot of paperwork and checking expiry dates on the boxes. We stay late most Fridays to catch up on the inventory counts and make sure nothing was missed. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us on our feet and we know most of the people around this block by now.
