Alkon Plastics is located over at Embassy Chamber on 3rd Road in Khar West. It’s a pretty well-known spot, and we’ve been operating from the 8th floor for a while now. We deal with plastic products, mostly things like bins and storage crates that people use in factories or workshops. Our office isn’t a factory itself, though; it’s more where we handle the orders and talk to customers. Khar is a busy neighborhood, and finding parking near 3rd Road is always a bit of a nightmare for anyone coming to see us. Inside, we have samples of the different containers we sell sitting on shelves and in corners. They are mostly bright colors like blue, red, and yellow, which makes the office look a bit like a toy store sometimes, even though these are heavy-duty industrial items. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking stock levels at the warehouse. It’s a small group of us here, and we all know each other well. We don't have any big meetings or fancy presentations. We just get the orders written down, check the prices, and make sure the logistics are moving along. It’s a straightforward business and we like it that way. Most days are spent just making sure people get the right size of bins for their warehouses without any fuss or delays. It gets quiet in the late afternoon, which is when we finally catch up on filing.
