Being at Alkem House on Senapati Bapat Marg means we are right in the middle of everything near Lower Parel. The traffic on S B Road is usually a mess, so most of us try to get in early. This building has been our base for a long time, and it’s where all the main decisions get made. It’s not just one thing happening here; we have people working on different lab projects and others handling the administrative side of things. The hallways are usually full of people walking fast with files in their hands. It’s a lab business, so cleanliness and following the rules is just part of the daily routine. We don't really talk much about being a big company; it just feels like a place where everyone has a specific task to finish. The neighborhood has changed so much over the years with all the new malls and towers, but Alkem House stays pretty consistent. We have a cafeteria where most of us sit and talk about everyday stuff, not just work. Sometimes the air conditioning is a bit too cold, and other times the lobby gets packed with visitors waiting for appointments. It’s a busy environment where the focus is on getting the science right and making sure the distribution is moving along as it should. There’s always someone working late here.
