Alifiya Hardware Mart

Alifiya Hardware Mart is sitting right at 48 Sarang Street in the middle of Khokha Bazar. It is a very busy part of town, and things can get pretty chaotic outside our doors. Inside, it’s a different kind of busy. We have shelves packed with everything you might expect from a hardware shop. There are tools, fasteners, and all sorts of metal goods crammed into the space. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The building is old, and you can tell by the way the floors creak. We don't mind it much. It has character. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to Khokha Bazar for decades. They know us and we know them. We don't do any big marketing or have a website. If people need something, they just walk down Sarang Street and find us. The air in the shop always smells like iron. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to reach things on the high shelves. It is physical work and it keeps us on our feet. Sometimes we lose track of time because there is always someone needing help or a delivery coming in. We aren't fancy and we don't try to be. We just keep the doors open and the stock ready for whoever needs it.
