Albatross Shipping Ltd

We are located in the Sundew building, which is part of Raheja Vihar in Chandivli Farm Road. This is over in the Andheri area of Mumbai. Working in shipping means we deal with a lot of paperwork and international timings. Our office at number 904 is usually filled with the sound of keyboards and people talking on headsets. It is a functional space where we track ships and coordinate cargo. Andheri is always buzzing, and the road outside can be a nightmare during peak hours, so we are used to the noise. We don’t have a flashy entrance or anything. It’s just a place where we come to do our jobs. Most of us have been in the shipping line for years, so we understand how things can get delayed at the port. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just look at the data and tell people what is happening with their containers. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and we have to go down to the local tea stall. It is a very human way of working. We deal with the stress of global logistics by keeping things practical. There are stacks of folders everywhere and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We are just a group of people in an Andheri office making sure things get across the ocean. It is hard work but we are used to it.
