Our office is in the Virwani Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. It is a massive complex with hundreds of different businesses, so it can be a bit of a maze if you are not used to it. We are at A-1/101. Dealing with the Western Express Highway traffic is just a daily reality for everyone who works here. It takes a lot of patience to get in and out of the estate during peak hours. We do international trade work, so a lot of our time is spent on the phone or emailing people in different time zones. It is not always exciting, mostly just tracking shipments and checking customs paperwork. The office is a bit cramped with files and samples, but we know where everything is. We do not have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We have been in Goregaon for a long time and have seen the area turn from a quiet suburb into this huge commercial hub. Sometimes the elevators in the building act up, so we end up taking the stairs. We are not a huge corporation; we are just a team trying to make sure the orders get where they need to go on time. It is a lot of coordination and sometimes things go wrong with the shipping lines, but we just deal with it as it comes.
