Ajay Scientific Co.

Ajay Scientific Co. is right on Princess Street, at number 140 in the Govind Building. We are on the ground floor, which is helpful because this street is always packed with people and traffic. If you have ever been to Princess Street, you know it is the place for all things scientific and medical. The Govind Building is an old one, and our shop has that classic feel to it. There are glass cabinets filled with all sorts of lab equipment and supplies. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for people who just walk in. The lighting isn't the brightest, and the floors have some wear and tear from years of feet walking over them. We have been here for decades, and the business has stayed pretty much the same. We know most of the other shop owners on the street. It is a busy, hectic environment, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We spend our days answering questions, finding parts, and packing up orders for schools and labs. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It works for us and our customers. There is a certain rhythm to the chaos of Princess Street that we have come to love.
