Ajanta Packaging

Our office is on the 3rd Floor of the Airmail Pen House. It’s located on Tejpal Scheme Road No. 5 in Vile Parle East. Vile Parle is a crowded place, so there’s always noise from the street below. We’ve got a lot of boxes and paper samples everywhere because that’s the nature of packaging. It’s a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have a few desks squeezed in between the shelves. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs. Most of the day is spent talking to printers or checking the quality of the cardstock. It’s a lot of looking at tiny details on labels and boxes. We don’t have a big corporate lobby. It’s just a door on the third floor that leads into our workspace. The light comes in through the side windows, but we usually have the big overhead lights on so we can see what we’re doing. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in and out with deliveries. We keep a small kitchen area for tea, which is where we usually end up talking. It’s just a regular Mumbai office where we try to get the orders out on time. No one wears anything fancy, and we just get along with the day’s tasks. The parking around Tejpal Scheme is always a nightmare, so most of us just take the train.
