Our spot is Unit 3 over in Laxmi Nagar II, which is right near the Laxmi Industrial Estate. If you’re coming off M.G. Road or heading through Bangur Nagar in Goregaon West, you know how the traffic can get around here. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve tucked ourselves into this unit where we handle all our daily tasks. The space isn’t huge, so we have to be pretty smart about where we put everything. It’s often a bit cluttered with parts and tools, and you might hear the hum of machines running most of the day. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so there’s always people moving around the alleyways and delivery vans trying to find a place to park. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door; usually, someone just looks up from what they’re doing when you walk in. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with getting the orders sorted and out the door. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is working at once, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. We’ve got a small kettle for tea in the corner and a desk that’s usually buried under some notes or lists. It’s a practical setup that works for us and the kind of work we do here in Goregaon. There are always boxes to move and things to check.
