Ahoratra

We have been running Ahoratra for a while now, tucked away in the Whispering Palm Shopping Center in Kandivali East. It is a busy spot, especially around the Bangur Nagar area. Most people find us while they are out doing their regular errands on the weekend. The shop is not fancy, just a 32-numbered unit where we keep things organized the best we can. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or the lights flicker a bit, but that is just how the building is. We spend most of our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. It is mostly just us trying to keep up with what the neighborhood needs. People stop by after work or on Saturday mornings when they have a free moment. We do not really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most of the folks who come in are locals who live nearby and know the area well. It gets a bit crowded sometimes, but we manage. We have seen the shopping center change over the years, with different shops coming and going, but we are still here in our corner. It is a practical space and nothing more. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things get done. If you are walking past Bangur Nagar, you will probably spot us easily enough. We are just a small part of the daily routine for people living around here. It works for us.
