Agio Pharmaceuticals Ltd is based out of A-38 in the Nandjyot Industrial Estate, right in the heart of Safedpool on the Kurla-Andheri Road. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by other businesses all doing their own thing, from small workshops to bigger warehouses. Our particular unit is a busy one where we handle all our daily operations. We’ve been here long enough to see the neighborhood change quite a bit, though the traffic on Kurla-Andheri Road remains as heavy as ever. Inside our doors, things are a bit more controlled. We have a routine that we stick to, starting with the morning check-ins and ending with making sure everything is locked up tight at night. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary, and we take some pride in just being reliable. The staff here is a mix of people who have lived in the area their whole lives and some who commute from further away. We don’t have a fancy lounge or a coffee machine that does anything special. We just have a kettle and some local tea. It’s the kind of place where you know where every tool and file is kept because you’ve been reaching for them for years. We aren’t interested in making a big splash; we just want to keep the business moving and stay out of the way while we do our daily tasks.
