Padhy is usually here making sure the operations don't fall apart. Our office is small, just one room really, but we manage to handle a lot of work from this single spot. The walls are thin, so you can hear the traffic and the people on the street all day long. We don't mind it much; it keeps us feeling like we're part of the city. Most of our work involves coordinating shipments and keeping track of where everything is. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing budget. We just rely on doing the job and keeping things moving through the port and across the city. Sometimes the monsoon makes everything a mess, and we spend half the day dealing with delays, but that's just life in Mumbai. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we’re used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we just keep at it day after day without any fancy frills or complicated talk.
