Advance Paints (P) Ltd.

We have been here at Advance House on Makwana Road for a long time now. It’s right near Marol Naka in Andheri East, so the traffic is always a bit much, but we manage to get in every day. People around here know us for our paints. We aren't a huge multinational corporation, just a group of people working out of this building to make sure the orders go out on time to the shops. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty with all the old files and samples, but that is just how it goes in a place that’s been around for years. We deal with different types of coatings and industrial stuff mostly. It’s not very fancy work, it's mostly just coordinating with the factory guys and keeping track of what the customers are asking for on the phone. The rain in Mumbai can make things slow down sometimes, especially during the monsoon when the roads flood, but the trucks still come and go. We have a few staff members who have been with us since the very beginning. It’s a busy spot here in Andheri. We don't spend much money on decorations or big signs, just the name on the front gate. Most days are spent on the phone or checking the stock in the back room. If you come by Marol Naka, you’ll see our building right there. We just try to keep things moving. It’s a simple operation, really.
