Adarkar Associates

Our office is located in the Mahim MIDC area, right inside the building they call Buildage House. It is a bit of an older structure, and we are in room 604146. Navigating the corridors can be a little confusing the very first time you visit us. It is very much a working area, not a place for tourists or fancy shopping. We spend most of our time sitting at our desks. There are four of us usually working here at Adarkar Associates. We have been operating from this building for quite a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we stay too busy to really worry about that. We have files piled up in the corners and the windows look out over the industrial rooftops of the neighborhood. It gets quite warm during the Mumbai summers, but we have a couple of sturdy fans that do the job well enough. We do not do anything fancy here. No big presentations or corporate talk. We just handle the work that comes in every morning. Lunch is usually brought from home in tiffin carriers and eaten at the desks while we talk about the news. It is a quiet kind of place. We value the routine we have built here. People who need us usually know exactly where to find us in Buildage House. It is not a flashy life, but it is a good way to work.
