Accountant Prakashkhatri

I’m Prakashkhatri and I do accounting work from my place in Pant Nagar, which is in the Shastri Nagar part of Ghatkopar East. Being in Mumbai 400 075, you’re always surrounded by a lot of noise and people moving fast, but inside my office, things are a bit more controlled. It’s a small space, but it’s enough for what I need to do. I have my computer and my ledger books and that’s about it. Ghatkopar is a busy place, and I’ve been based here for a while now, helping folks with their financial records. The streets outside are usually crowded with traffic and people going to the station, but I just focus on the numbers in front of me. I don't really have a big staff, so I do most of the data entry and checking myself. It takes a lot of time to make sure everything is correct, especially when the tax deadlines are approaching. I’ve lived in Mumbai my whole life, so I’m used to the small spaces and the constant activity. My office in Pant Nagar is where I feel most at home, even if it’s just filled with tax forms and receipts. I try to be helpful to the people who come in, even if I’m busy. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a good way to stay connected to the community here in Shastri Nagar. I just keep my head down and work.
