Abu Mansoor & Co. is located at 334/5 on Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road. This part of the city is always moving. There are people everywhere and the noise from the street is constant. Our shop is an old one. We haven't changed much over the years because the old way of doing things still works for us. We have wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and they are usually packed with all sorts of goods. It’s a small shop, so things can get a bit cramped when we have more than two or three customers inside. We don't have a fancy computer system; we still do a lot of things by hand. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. We know what they need before they even ask. It’s a very personal way of doing business. We don't do any marketing or promotions. We just open up early in the morning and stay until the evening. Sometimes the deliveries are a headache because the road is so narrow and crowded, but we’ve learned to be patient. We enjoy the talk and the daily interaction with our customers. It’s a simple, local business that has been part of this street for a long time. We don’t try to be anything else but a reliable shop for the people around here.
