Abelin Polymers

Our place, Abelin Polymers, is at No. 4 in the Premsons Industrial Estate on Caves Road. We are right opposite the Jain Mandir in Jogeshwari East. It’s a busy industrial area, so there are always trucks moving around and people loading stuff. We work with polymers, which means we spend a lot of time around machines and raw plastic materials. The workshop can get pretty loud and dusty, but that’s the nature of the business. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone else. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually just walk in and find one of us on the shop floor. Our main focus is just making the stuff people asked for and making sure it doesn't have defects. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order, and other times it’s a bit slower. We don't bother with big advertisements because most people in the industry already know where we are. Dealing with the heat in Mumbai while working near heaters and presses is tough, but we’re used to it. We just try to be honest about what we can do and when we can get it done. No corporate fluff, just a regular factory doing its best every day in Jogeshwari. We’ve been here long enough that the sounds of the estate feel like home.
