Aastrid International Pvt Ltd is tucked into the Goregaon East area, specifically in the Udyog Bhavan building. We have units 247 and 248. If you have ever been to Udyog Bhavan, you know it is a massive building with a lot of movement. There are people coming and going at all hours of the day. Our space is on one of the upper floors, and we spend our time managing the international side of the business from here. Goregaon is a fast-moving part of the city. You can hear the trains if it’s a quiet afternoon, but it rarely is quiet around here. The office itself is full of paperwork, maps, and computers. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It’s more about the work we do every day. Sometimes the elevators take a long time to come, so we end up chatting with the people from other offices while we wait in the lobby. It feels like a small community inside a big building. We have been in Goregaon for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit with new buildings going up. Our rooms are usually filled with the sound of typing and people talking on phones to different time zones. We don't really do anything flashy. It is just a regular office where we handle our exports and imports. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is close by. It might not look like much from the outside, but it’s where all our coordination happens.
