Aarti Printing & Packaging

Aarti Printing & Packaging is located over at 511 Veena Killedar on Pais Street. It is a busy spot in Mahalaxmi, and we have been in this building for a long time. The space is filled with the sound of machines and the smell of ink most of the day. We spend a lot of time checking prints and packing boxes to go out. It gets pretty loud in here when all the equipment is running at once, so sometimes we have to shout over the noise just to hear each other. Pais Street is always moving with people and vehicles, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. The office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for what we need. We don’t have much room for a fancy waiting area or anything like that because most of the floor is taken up by the stacks of paper and the packaging supplies. Most of us have been working here together for years, so we have a rhythm. Some days the humidity makes the paper curl or a machine gets jammed, which can be frustrating, but we just fix it and move on. It is honest work, and we stay busy from morning until evening. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a local shop that handles what the customers need. If you ever find yourself near the station or walking down Pais Street, that's where we are.
