Aari Watches

Aari Watches is located on the first floor at 62/64 Trombay Road. It’s not a street-level shop, so you have to head up the stairs to find where we are. We’ve been working with watches here for a long time. It’s a small space, but we have enough room for our tools and a display of different pieces we have for sale. We spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses at tiny gears and springs. Changing batteries is a big part of what we do every day for folks. People also come in for new straps or because their watch just stopped ticking for no reason. Trombay Road is always busy with traffic, but it’s a bit quieter once you’re inside our shop on the first floor. We don't go for anything too flashy or modern. It’s just a practical workspace. We handle all sorts of watches, from the old ones people inherit to the newer digital ones. It’s nice to see the different styles that come in. We do our best to be careful with everything, as we know watches can be very personal things. It’s just a few of us here. We like the rhythm of the work. Fixing a watch takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. If you’re looking for us, just look for the number 62/64 and come on up. We’re usually there behind the counter tinkering with something small and metallic.
