Aakar Glass India Pvt. Ltd. is located over in the Sunita Industrial Estate, specifically units two and three. Being right across from the State Bank on L.B.S. Marg makes it easy to find, even though the traffic in Bhandup West is usually a mess. Our warehouse is usually full of glass sheets of all different thicknesses. It’s a bit of a nervous job sometimes, moving all that heavy glass around without hitting a corner. We’ve all had a few close calls over the years, but you learn to be careful and move slow. The air in the estate is always a bit dusty, and there’s a constant sound of trucks loading and unloading nearby. We aren't trying to be a fancy showroom. We’re a working glass shop. We cut, we edge, and we get things ready for whatever project is coming up next. Some days it’s quiet and we can catch up on the paperwork, but most days it’s a bit chaotic with people coming in and out asking for quotes. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just work with glass and try to get the orders right so customers don't have to come back twice. It gets hot in the units during the summer months, but we have a few big fans that keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward life here at the industrial estate, just doing the work and heading home.
