Aaditya Harness

Aaditya Harness is based at 595, New Ashok Nagar, on the Cama Ind. Main Road within the Cama Ind. Estate in Goregaon (E). This is a classic Mumbai industrial setting. The estate is a huge collection of units where people are making all sorts of things. We focus on harnesses at our unit, number 595. The walk from the Goregaon East station can be quite a struggle during the busy hours, but it’s part of the daily routine for everyone here. The Cama Ind. Main Road is always crowded with delivery tempos and people rushing around. Our space is filled with the smell of plastic and the sound of crimping tools. We have stacks of wire spools in every corner. It’s a bit tight when we have a lot of orders, but we’ve learned how to move around each other without getting in the way. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the sea breeze when it manages to reach this far inland and our ceiling fans. The community in the estate is quite close; we know the guys in the next unit who do metal plating and the ones across the road who make plastic molds. We don't use any corporate jargon or have big meetings. We just get our instructions and start the assembly. New Ashok Nagar is a busy, noisy, and hardworking neighborhood, and Aaditya Harness fits right in with the rest of the shops.
