You can find us at 571 Anna Salai in Teynampet. We are right near the Marriott Court Yard hotel, which makes us easy to spot if you’re driving through that part of Chennai. It’s a very busy street, and the noise from the traffic never really stops. Our shop is filled with all kinds of art supplies, signs, and frames. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with scraps of material and paint brushes sitting around. We don't have a polished showroom; it’s more of a working studio where things are actually made. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and getting the colors right. Sometimes my hands are covered in ink or glue by the end of the day. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just like making things that look good for the people who come in. A lot of our customers are regulars who just drop by to chat about a new project. We’ve got a small counter where we do the billing, and it’s usually covered in pens and scraps of paper. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We’ve been at this Teynampet location for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite all the new buildings, we just keep doing what we do. It’s a simple life, focused on the craft and the daily customers who walk in from the heat of Anna Salai.
