A to Z Electricals

You’ll find A to Z Electricals over at 48, Vithal Das Lane. We are based in Dev Karan Mansion, which is one of those classic buildings in the Lohar Chawl area. If you’ve ever been here, you know how crowded it gets with people looking for every kind of wire or switch imaginable. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve got our own way of doing things. We have piles of electrical components everywhere, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we always know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of feel, even if not everyone is related. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who are trying to fix something at home or contractors working on bigger jobs. The building has that old Mumbai smell of dust and tea, and the hallways are always full of people moving goods. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our business happens over the counter or through long-term contacts we’ve made over the years. It’s noisy and fast-paced, and by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired. But it’s good work. We keep the lights on and the fans spinning for a lot of people around here. It’s just what we do, day in and day out, from our little spot in the mansion. There is always a lot to keep track of when customers come in.
