You can find us at Sahkar Apartment on S V Road. It’s a well-known road, and being in an apartment building makes the hospital feel a bit different than a standalone clinic. We’ve been running A N Desai Maternity Hospital from this location for quite some time. It’s a place where families are always coming and going. Because we deal with maternity, things can be quite unpredictable. Some days are quiet, and then suddenly it’s a whirlwind of activity. The space inside the apartment unit has been converted to fit our needs, with rooms for patients and a small waiting area for the fathers and relatives. It can get a bit cramped when a lot of family members show up at once, but we manage. S V Road is always loud with traffic, and you can hear the horns honking throughout the day. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing budget. We just have our staff and our daily routine. The nurses are usually busy checking on everyone, and there’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets busy. It’s a humble place, really. We just focus on making sure mothers and babies are looked after. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of life here on S V Road.
