A M Arsiwala

We operate out of Tilak Nagar 7, which is right in the heart of the Nagpada area. It’s a crowded part of town, but we like it because everything is close by. The office isn't very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things so we don't trip. A M Arsiwala has been around this neighborhood for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the rhythm of the streets here. Mornings are usually spent cleaning up the dust that seems to settle overnight and getting the lights turned on. There’s a lot of history in these old buildings, and you can definitely feel it. Our desks are a bit cluttered with notebooks and old receipts, but we know where everything is. It’s just a few of us working here, so it’s pretty quiet unless the neighbors are moving furniture. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just answer the phone when it rings and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a humble way to run things, but it works for us. Living and working in Nagpada means you’re always part of the local bustle, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep things moving at our own pace.
