A & D India

Being in Marol is all about the hustle. Mittal Estate is a huge place, and we are tucked away in Building 6, Unit 25. If you don't know the way, you might wander around the estate for a while. It’s very industrial. There’s always the sound of trucks loading or unloading nearby. A & D India is right in the middle of that. We handle a lot of technical stuff here, mostly scales and balances. Our unit is basically a mix of an office and a small storage area. It smells a bit like cardboard and metal. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few technical diagrams taped up. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in Andheri heat. We take turns making coffee. It’s a small group of us, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute you're answering a technical question, the next you're helping move a box. We don't have a formal break room, so we just eat at our desks while watching something on our phones. It’s a real, working environment. We don’t put on an act for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us as we are, probably busy with a repair or a shipment. It’s just how things go at Unit 25. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the window, but we’ve got a bucket for that.
