A B Mistry & Co

Our office is right here in Girgaon, at 194-D Gaiwadi along J S S Road. It’s one of those parts of Mumbai where everything happens at once. We’ve been at A B Mistry & Co for quite some time now. The building has that old feel you only find in this part of town, with thick walls and windows that sometimes rattle when the big buses go past outside. It isn't a fancy place with glass walls or shiny receptionists. Instead, we have wooden desks that have seen better days and a lot of files stacked up because that’s just how we work. Most mornings start with the sound of the shutters going up and the smell of tea from the corner stall coming through the door. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've shared this space for years. If you’re looking for us, you just look for the Gaiwadi entrance. Sometimes the traffic on J S S Road is a total mess, especially in the evenings, but we are used to it by now. We just stay inside and finish what needs doing. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look perfect for visitors. The ceiling fans hum all day and we keep our heads down. It’s just how it is here. You get the real Mumbai experience coming to this office, including the climb up the stairs.
